Spark Spring Sixes (Rosemont )
Sixes is a short-field version of the game that will be played for the first time in the Olympics in 2028. The advantage of playing Sixes at the youth level is to increase the pace, touches, and overall skill development, especially for newer players. All players will have the space to learn BOTH offense and defense, in a less complicated field game system. Smaller teams also means more reps, lower coach to player ratios and more time to focus on individual skill development. Focus is on developing stick skills at a running pace. Scooping, schooting, catching, switching hands, throwing, shooting while keeping your feet moving.
We are opening up our Sixes Scrimmages to Rosemont players!
If numbers allow, we will keep all the Rosemont players together in a group and providing a coach for them through Spark. The scrimmages will be short. We will rotate groups in and out to focus on player development in the moment! For questions, feel free to email [email protected]. To register, either buy the pack or individual dates you plan to attend.
Elementary Scrimmages are 1:30-3:30 at Westridge School in Pasadena on 4/13, 4/27, 5/4, and 5/11.
